I've never had a housekeeper before, how do I get started?

Call or fill out the contact us section on the website. We can give you an estimate right over the phone. This will help us determine the best package for you and your home. This is when you will tell us a little more about your home, family and pets.  If you have any trouble areas or special instructions, this would be the time to discuss that. Also, if you require specific cleaning supplies or wish for us to use the ones you already have, just let us know. We normally start with a detailed cleaning, then switch to the regular leaning for your recurring service at whatever frequency you choose. The deep clean is the real hard work and takes the most time to get your home Mint clean. After that we are just maintaining your home in that condition, which take far less time.

How do I get ready for my first clean?

For us to provide you the best clean possible, we ask that you pick up any clothing, household items or toys. It's best if you also de-clutter all surfaces before the cleaner(s) arrive. This will help you to get the best possible result, as your cleaner(s) may not be able to fully clean a cluttered area, or know where you keep your personal items.

I have a room that I don't want cleaned. Do I pay a lower rate?

We use bedrooms, bathrooms & square footage as an easy way to estimate the cost to clean your home. Typically, you will still pay the listed rate, even if we have to skip a room. We can always customize a quote if needed.

Do I need to be home?

No, most of our customers prefer to not be home when we are there cleaning and will just leave a key or entry code.  We do however request that you be home for the first clean. This is just so you have a chance to communicate with your cleaner on how you would like to have your home cleaned.

Do you clean porches or decks?

While it is not apart of our normal cleaning  services, we can always add it in for an additional charge.

Do you do the laundry?

It’s not a part of one of our packages, but we can add it for an additional Charge. Now, if we are changing bedding, as a courtesy will start the load for you.


When and how do I pay?

Payment is required at time of service. You can pay by check, debit, credit, PayPal or Zelle. Whichever is easiest for you. If payment is not available at time of service there will be a $50 fee assessed. This is to cover the cost of our transportation, of our employee wages as they travel to and from your home. 

*There is a $35 fee for returned checks.

*Late fee accrues at $35 per month.


Will you send me a bill?

Normally we will not because payment is due at time of service, but if you do need one, we can always email one out to you.

Do I need to leave a tip?

Tips are not required but are always appreciated. Any tips collected (even by Credit Card or Check) are given directly to your assigned Cleaner(s).

How many cleaners do you send to my home?

Typically we send one cleaner to your home, but there may be as many as 3 depending on the scope of the cleaning and the size of the home.


How long does it take to clean my home?

This is a hard question to answer as it all depends on the size of your home, amount of cleaning needed and how many cleaners are there. Usually it takes 2-4 hours. When you have your free estimate, we will be able to give you a better idea of the time required to clean your home.


Do you clean behind or under appliances or furniture?

That depends. If we can reasonably clean behind or under we will, but usually that is not apart of our standard cleaning packages. We can however add that for you at a small additional cost.


How high do you dust?

Our housekeepers always have a 3 leveled step stool and we don’t clean anything above their reach on the top step. This is to insure their safety.


Do you do dishes?  

No, but if there are a few dishes in the sink we will wash them or load the dishwasher for you.


Do I have to sign a contract?

Absolutely NOT! With us you never have to worry about a complicated contract. We do offer a discount if you sign a contract, but you can always have month to month service.

Are there any hidden charges or additional fees that will come up after my clean?

No, you will be charged the price that you were quoted. If you would like to add something that is not in addition to what you were quoted. The office or your cleaner will let you know there is an addition charge beforehand.


Do you provide the cleaning supplies and equipment?

Yes, your cleaner will arrive with all of the cleaning products necessary to make your home Mint Clean. This includes our freshly laundered microfiber towels. You even have 2 different options for cleaning products. Our packages include our regular cleaning products but you can choose to use our Eco friendly cleaning products for a small additional charge.

Can I leave a note for the team?

Absolutely! Communication is very important for us. We want to make sure that you are happy with the service we provide.  We will always contact you after your initial cleaning to get feedback. Each family has different needs and wants, so always feel free to let us know what you are thinking.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please provide a 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations. There is a $50 charge for all cancellations under 24 hours. The cleaners are paid for each home they clean and a cancellation without enough notice to reschedule another appointment directly affects the cleaner’s income.
